Czech cities get a makeover with Transdev’s smart bus stops
Papercast is excited to announce that its cutting-edge e-paper passenger information technology is integral to…
Is it me or did January pass in a flash? It’s been quite possibly one of the busiest starts to the year I have ever had. They say time passes more quickly as you get older, but they also say time flies when you’re having fun, and whilst both apply to me, I would say it is the latter that is really at play right now!
Not only are we furiously working on the next generation release of the Papercast display, the solar powered e-paper real-time passenger information (RTPI) platform for bus operators, but we are also meeting with customers in all corners of the world to tell them all about it.
We also announced an exciting partnership with FWT (read more about this here) and are thrilled that they will be taking Papercast to the UK market as part of their intelligent and automated bus stop information portfolio.
So it goes without saying that we are insanely busy, and with the predicted 20% plus CAGR in the passenger information market over the next 5 years, this looks set to continue.
In the coming weeks FWT will be taking to the road in a series of industry events to showcase their extraordinary digital passenger information solution, with Papercast an integral component of the platform.
Our adventures start this week with a presentation on Thursday 9 February at the annual Marketing Manager Meeting of the Association of Local Bus Company Managers (ALBUM).
Robin Bennett, the Commercial Manager at FWT, will discuss the challenges of applying open data standards within the UK deregulated bus industry. He will also cover the rewards that come from ensuring the highest attention to data quality and availability, and will explore available technologies including e-paper.
We will also exhibit at the major industry events listed below. We will publish further information leading up to each event, but for now I would like to ask that you please find a moment to stop by the FWT stand.
You can meet the team, see our innovative digital passenger information signage in action and understand how you can improve the passenger experience while reducing the total cost of ownership with innovative signage technologies.
LOOK OUT FOR FWT’S DIGITAL BUS STOP INFORMATION SOLUTION AT THESE EVENTS:
Don’t miss the opportunity to meet us in person, if you can’t make the shows but would like to know more please get in contact.
I really hope your start to 2017 has been as exciting as I have enjoyed, I look forward to catching up soon.
